The Family of Man: „Geführte Besichtigungen und Fotografie-Workshop“
An beiden Tagen werden kostenlose Führungen angeboten, die es den Besuchern ermöglichen die Sammlung, ihre bewegte Geschichte sowie die spannende Biografie ihres Kuratoren Edward STEICHEN auf eine familien-freundliche Weise kennenzulernen.
Am Samstag, den 18. Mai 2024 finden folgende Führungen statt:
15h00: Führung auf Luxemburgisch
16h00: Führung auf Englisch
Am Sonntag, den 19. Mai 2024 finden folgende Führungen statt:
15h00: Führung auf Deutsch
16h00: Führung auf Französisch
Der Fotografie-Workshop, der an diesem Wochenende im benachbarten Kulturzentrum angeboten wird, richtet sich ebenfalls an die ganze Familie. Dort werden gemeinsam ungewöhnliche, digitale Fotomontagen erstellt. Vorkenntnisse und -anmeldung sind nicht erforderlich.

Entdecken Sie mit Ihrer Familie die Ausstellungen von „Clervaux - Cité de l’image“ in Form einer spielerischen Führung. Eine luxemburgische Schauspielerin verkörpert die fiktive Figur „Pixie Pixel“ und führt Kinder und Familien in die Fotografie ein.

Im Tourismusbüro am Marktplatz in Clerf erhalten Sie kostenlos ein Heft in Deutsch, Französisch und Englisch, das Ihre Kinder auf spielerische Weise durch die Ausstellungsgärten führt.

Museum „Bataille et Château“
Modell „Diorama der Stadt Clerf“ animiert mit Ton und Licht.
Machen Sie bei Ihrem freien Besuch des Museums einen Zwischenstopp im Saal des Dioramas der Stadt Clerf. In Zusammenarbeit mit der luxemburgischen Erzählkünstlerin Luisa BEVILACQUA wird das Modell der Stadt Clerf zum Leben erweckt. Eine Stimme aus dem Off wird die Geschichte von "Die eingestürzte Stadt" erzählen. Eine Mapping-Projektion auf das Modell wird die verschiedenen Teile der Stadt beleuchten, um die Geschichte zum Leben zu erwecken und den Besuchern die Möglichkeit zu geben, in die Details des Modells einzutauchen.
Organisierte Besichtigung der Flugzeugabsturzstellen mit dem CEBA
Es findet eine geführte Besichtigung zu den Absturzstellen der beteiligten Flugzeuge und zu historisch wichtigen Orten der Ardennenschlacht statt

From Saturday to Sunday, 18.05 to 19.05.2024, the museums in the Clervaux castle are open from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm. Admission and guided tours are free.
Free face painting for children in the Battle and Castle Museum, Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 5pm.

The Family of Man: Guided tours and photography workshop
On both days, free guided tours will enable visitors to discover the collection, its eventful history and the fascinating biography of its curator Edward STEICHEN in a family-friendly way.
On Saturday, 18 May 2024, the following guided tours will take place:

This weekend's photography workshop at the neighbouring Cultural Centre is also open to the whole family. The idea is to work together to create unusual digital photomontages. There's no need to have any prior knowledge, and no need to register.

Museum Bataille et Châteaux
Diorama model of the town of Clervaux animated with sound and light
During your free visit to the museum, stop off in the Clervaux diorama room. In collaboration with the Luxembourg artist-storyteller Luisa BEVILACQUA, the model of the town of Clervaux will come to life. A voice-over will tell the story of ‘The collapsed town’. A mapping projection on the model will illuminate the different parts of the town, bringing the story to life and allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the details of the model.
Tour of aircraft crash sites with the CEBA
The guided tour of the aircraft crash sites involved and historically important sites during the Battle of the Bulge takes place:
Saturday, 18 May from 10.00 am - 4.00 pm
Participation is free (except for lunch).

The tour departs from the Tourist Centre (11, Grand-Rue) at 10.00 am in Clervaux, Place du Marché.
